How to install iGO8 in Targa PNA-4330T

Igo 8 on Takara PNA-4330T GPS Navigation

After a few days of trying I finally managed to install igo 8.3 In Takara PNA-4330T. This method can also be applied to other Takara GPS navigations such as the PNA-3540. This is a steps for unlocking and installing Takara GPS Navigations:


  1. Connect your Takara GPS with PC
  2. Backup all content from your Takara PNA-4330T  resident flash  (This is necessary step).
  3. Format resident flash of yours Takara PNA-4330T GPS.
  4. Make folder Targa on your Takara GPS navigation.
  5. Copy iGo8 files into this new Targa folder (This is necessary step).
  6. Rename iGO8.exe to Traveller.exe
  7. Edit and put next lines in SYS.TXT of your Takara GPS navigation (This is necessary step).
  8. Disconnect GPS from PC and restart your Takara PNA-4330T.
